All wildlife encounters at Oak Meadow Ranch are based on free will. Our animals are never forced to participate and are respected as the individuals they are — each interaction happens on their terms.

The Dinner and Animal Experience
Approximately 4 hours of incredible experiences starting at 5:30pm.
Offered 4 days a week - Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Reservations Required.
We offer a 5-star, Chef-created dinner. Each course is hand crafted by the Chef and his team and is presented to your table. The intimate Dining Experience includes a 4 or 5 course meal, often with a flambé style table-side feature. Chef can accommodate dietary restrictions but we ask that you please arrange this with us prior to the dinner. We have a wine, beer, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase at dinner.
During this experience we also include live music, a ranch tour with a guide, complimentary axe throwing upon request, and a guided meet and greet with our exotic Ambassador Animals to include: Red Kangaroos, African Serval, African Caracal, Lemurs, Giraffe, Sloth, Camels, Otters, Deer and many more. This is an interactive encounter & experience!
During the guided tour we take you inside the habitats and you will be able to feed, touch, and take photos with our animals. We allow you to enjoy playtime in the lemur enclosures, get close and personal with the kangaroos and you get to HUG a sloth!!! Finally to end the experience you get to meet our youngest ambassador animals.
After the experience you can enjoy campfires, s’mores, and cigars, available for purchase.
Total price for the entire experience is: $250 per person - under 3 years old is free.

The Brunch and Animal Experience

Please join us in the Serenity Chapel* for Church service at 10:30am with Pastor Nelson - fellowship is free and all are welcome to join. We hope to see you there!
At noon you are served a limited-time, Chef-crafted brunch followed by the guided meet and greet with our Ambassador Animals - to include: Red kangaroos, an African Serval, African Caracal, Lemurs, Camels, Sloth, Otter, Deer and many more. Enjoy a completely private, at your own pace wildlife encounter guided by either the owner or our head animal guide. You'll tour the habitats with one-on-one access to the incredible animals of Oak Meadow Ranch.

Otter Swim
This joyful experience is for an hour of fun.
Spend an hour playing with our otters in their habitat, which includes our swim spa heated to a cozy 91 degrees, and out of the water in their surrounding habitat. Frolic, splash, play and feed them snacks. They may even take a quick power nap snuggled in your arms (it has happened!)
Important Notes:
- We have no age restrictions on this encounter; this is suitable for guests of all ages!
- Guests under 18 are required to have a paying adult present in the habitat with them, we do not allow unaccompanied minors.
- Only paying guests are allowed to enter Oak Meadow Ranch gates and inside the otter habitat. We don’t allow spectators due to our licensing limitations and because spectators distract the otters - they want to include you! Our main goal is for the participants to get the best possible experience. Thank you for your understanding.
- Please come ready to swim!
Don't forget to bring your camera to capture every precious moment.

Our Out of Africa bundle includes:
- 2 nights stay with Puzzles and Jigsaw the Giraffe in one of our Cattle Baron suites: King Ranch, Four 6666, Waggoner, or Pitchfork with a bottle of red or white wine (your preference, if no choice specified, management will choose) set up in your room upon arrival
- 2 Water Buffalo swims. The Water buffalo habitat does not include a heated pool so this is dependant on season. If she will not swim we can do photos and sit on her back.
- Private swim for 2 with the Otters in their heated swim spa, with 2 cocktails of your choice
- 2 camel rides on our dromedary camel - 10 minute activity
- The incredible Dinner and Wildlife Tour for 2 (available Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday for Brunch and Wildlife Tour)

Junior Conservationist Day Camp
Starting summer 2025 we are excited to offer a new program for our youth! Join us for our Junior Conservationist Day Camp where your junior explorer can join us at Oak Meadow Ranch for days filled with fresh air, education about animals in captivity and in the wild, animal husbandry and enrichment for those in captivity, as well as animal encounters and fun Ranch activities!
Book your child for our 4 day camp running Monday - Thursday from 9:00am-3:00pm
Children will be provided 2 snacks and a lunch so all that is required is an adventurous heart and some good footwear. Give your child the opportunity to interact with wildlife in an up close and intimate way that you cannot find anywhere else!

We provide you and your family with a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, from gourmet food and the cleanest overnight accommodations to unforgettable hands-on experiences with domestic and exotic animals. Our mission goes beyond providing unique encounters—we are deeply committed to conservation. What we won’t do!
We are a proudly family owned, for profit business. We won’t pretend to be a rescue, animal sanctuary, or nonprofit organization in an effort to mislead you. While some of our animals have been re-homed or rescued, many have been ethically sourced from reputable breeders and hand-raised with the utmost care. This transparency is important because some organizations hide under the label of a sanctuary or nonprofit while operating differently. We, on the other hand, are proudly a for-profit business, and our greatest priority is the health and well-being of our animals.
Why does this matter? Our profits go directly into providing top-tier care, enrichment, and specialized diets for our animals—many of which are rare or endangered. By supporting us, you are also supporting global conservation efforts, ethical wildlife care, and the protection of species at risk.
